I'm rebuilding my music collection and the truth is I can't possibly think of all my favorite songs on my own and there pabably are many songs that I haven't heard of that are also awesome - so I would like your help in gathering a list of awesome songs!

So here I am stuck in traffic in lake tahoe with my new/somebodies old sidekick moving about 2 feet every 10 minutes.

I am now able to speak into my phone by the way(I suppose I could before but now the person on the other end can hear me)

Very Soon (relative to geological timescales) I will be at my cousins wedding surrounded by relatives and stuck 5 hours away from people I'd actually care to spend time with. (I like my cousin but I expect her to be rather busy)

Right now though a weird thing is happening where people are getting out of their cars to drink alchol and smoke (in most cases cigarettes). A small little community of vacationers is forming casually strolling down the street along side their cars.

As much as I would like to get out and join them I am stuck in my car periodically releasing the break pedal to inch forward.

I cannot even say @$%^% it and park the car, because their is a slim hope that I can make it to the wedding before 530 (20 min)

I need to pee badly and it is very hot, I have already worked my way through a litre of aquafina and would very much like to stop driving now.

Hi - this is me posting to say that I am still alive and doing moderatly well.

I sadly don't have much in the way of updates . . .

General State of Life:

Art Student @ SJSU;
Finally Caught up on Art homework (now for my other classes);
Need to find a job;
Currently drinking red wine and eating chocolate;
Want to start excercising again;

Haven't felt much like writing or reading lately - which is odd. Though I am getting alot of drawing done on account of the art classes. Its really really frusterating, but I can observe myself getting better and refining my technique so I count it as a positive thing.

Other than that nothing I can really think of,

I may have asked this before, but does anybody have a preists collar that I can borrow for a day?

Heya everybody, I'm participating in a council meeting simulation for school which is happening at the San Jose City Hall. I was put in the conservative community activists group and cast as a Religious Leader. I'm going to go as a preacher (maybe a preist if I can find a collar) and deliver a speech on morals.

The main thing I need is people to play members of my congregation. It was suggested that as community leaders that we got help from our friends, and I thought some of you might have fun acting out the part.

The draw back is that the meeting starts this Saturday morning at 8am.

All that I really need is for people to show up so let me know if you are interested in attending, or if you want to help out and maybe write a character.

Mainly need people to be an unruly crowd of outraged community members. The most important thing would be for people to show up, stand around looking upset and maybe do some sign waving.

It'd be cool if enough people together to hold a small rally before the actual meeting at 830 for the cameras to cover. Also we are looking for a few people who arn't in the class to play the parts of concerned parents and the like. We are especially looking for kids to be present as a gimmick.

I find the concept of the five paragraph essay to be completly banal and stunting in my attempts to learn how to grow as a writer. It is absolutly destructive to ones creativity to teach the most limiting and strict form of writing as the ultimate and true way to write. As a youth I loathed the concept of writing for this very reason as I believed that all writing followed similar form. It was implied in teacher's harsh tones, red pens and unfavorable letter grades that I should shut off those creative centers which made me want to write expansivly and write in a purley linear and sharply structured manner.

As a result of this psychological stunting I now adays have a very difficult time writing anything longer than 3-5 pages as I was taught that that would be the scope and limit of my writing and that I should try to compress my ideas into 5 or so paragraphs. I wonder if I had been taught first how to write freely and expansivly and how to build ideas rather than first tp truncate them and order them if I would be having as much difficulty in my english classes today. It seems that a much better way of teaching one how to write would be to teach a child to write abundantly and then apply templates such as the 5 paragraph essay that the child (or college student) could apply to the skills which they already posses along with a myriad of other templates such as Novella writing, journalistic writing or anecdotal writing. A simple "hey kids don't forget there are many other ways of writing something two and/but this is a very important one. Would have done well too I think.

At anyrate I must return to my banal essay writing which I'm still not very good at.

As I looked down at my eerily inanimate form I became aware of a presence hovering nearby. I had done terrible things in life and thus was frightened of the dark form that seemed to be just over my right shoulder.

"I suppose you have come to take me to hades, hell, achaeron or what have you?" I asked finding it suprisingly easy to keep the overwhelming terror from my voice.

"Why should I want to do that?" the spectre asked in a voice that sounded as if it traveled down a long hall.

Inspired by blog like its the end of the world and Ari I'm going to keep a fictional account of a man's descent into psychotic parinoia regarding a zombie uprising. I will also be using it to track fun zombie stuff (though the character may believe them to be "real")

Check it out and tell people about it if you like it, but try not to give away the premise/break character ; ).

Does anyone have any apartment finding wisdom that they could share with me? I've been checking craigslist fairly frequently and asking people if they know anyone who needs a room mate, but other than that I'm stumped.
